Amavi 14ct White Gold 1.25ct Oval Moissanite Solitaire

This Amavi solitaire ring is set in 14k gold and features a sweet heart motif on the sides of the ring encasing a 8x6mm (approx 1.25ct) oval cut moissanite.

ABOUT MOISSANITE
Moissanite is a gemstone born from the stars. It was first discovered in 1893 when Nobel Prize-winning scientist, Dr Henri Moissan, discovered microscopic particles at the site of a meteor strike in Arizona. He initially thought that he had discovered diamonds, but later determined that the crystals were composed of silicon carbide. Moissan spent the rest of his career attempting to recreate this rare mineral and nearly 100 years later, the particles Moissan discovered were successfully synthesized to produce what is now one of the world’s most scintillating gemstones.
MOISSANITE GRADING
While diamonds are graded on the 4 C’s scale (Cut, Clarity, Color, Carat), moissanites are grouped into quality categories. Amavi features the highest quality of Moissanite which is equivalent to a DEF Colourless Diamond and are almost flawless (VVS).
